Fine art prints, sometimes referred to as giclées, are the happy product of optimized digital imagery and a fastidiously color-managed print workflow. Whether you commission your imagery from us or you supply us with one of your existing images, you can be assured that it will receive archival quality treatment each step of the way. At Picture-THIS we have built a reputation as being some of the most demanding perfectionists in the business; if it’s not good enough to call an art print by us, we’ll tell you and we won’t print it!
Fortunately, there is so much we can do to help many “problem” images that many of our clients have just come to expect small miracles from us.......and that’s where our skill set begins, at the very beginning, with excellent digital imaging services that include scanning, color-correcting, distortion correction, clean-up and so on and so forth. This enhancement process takes a carefully trained eye working in concert with a near mystical understanding of color-managment, print technologies, stock characteristics and production techniques. When it comes together and the results are verifiably excellent, then and only then does it go off to the likes of people working with galleries, museums, art shows and dare we say it....national archives!
